Okay so my 05 Mazda3, one side of the HID kit both bulb and ballast are dead..

at the moment, money is very tight so I am going to return this one back to stock bulbs, well not stock more like the silverstars..

none the less my silly question is, to remove the HID kit, all it requires is removing the ballast and bulbs and plug back in my halogen bulbs?

and as well the car has the independent fog mod done plus No DRL...

I want to keep the independent fog mod but what about the DRL mod?

so kinda confused on how to approach this?

I aint the best wiring so be expected with some noob questions

thanks

well thank you captain obvious....

anyone else have answer I can use?

it seems as simple as pumping gas, or is there someone on this board who I can PM to do that service...

I know there are people can do it, but I have two hands, a tool box, and a pair of eyes to read, plus dont forget a brain to learn..

like I said...can anyone else provide an answer that I can actually use?

Since your post said you aren't the best with wiring, I assumed you could use McGuyver's services. No need to be rude, bro.

Well, it shouldn't be too difficult. I don't have a walkthrough for you or anything and instructions should be based on the instillation process used but in general, you'd first start off by disconnecting the negative terminal on your battary and the power source to the HID's, then the ballast from the HID bulbs, should be as simple as undoing the clips between the ballast and the bulb. Then from there just undo the clip and you should be able to pull the bulbs out and dispose. Next, if a wiring harness was used, clip all the zip ties or undo all the double sided tape used to support it. Find where it is grounded (maybe at the hood latch) and undo that. Next disconnect the harness wire running to the OEM LB harness. Next I guess would be to undo the signal tap. If you used a wire tap, use some pliers to pull the metal tap out of the tap housing. Your wires should now be free. After all that is said and done, clip the zip ties or undo the double sided tape securing your ballasts and voila, your HID's should be uninstalled. Get your original halogen bulbs, pop and clip them in, connect the original ballasts and you should be good to go. Those are my suggestions, I'm by far no expert but take it for what it is. Good luck, or as Skarbro suggested, give McGuyver a shout for assistance or he can do it, whichever you like. Oh, forgot to say, connect the negative terminal back up too, lol, almost forgot to put that in.
