the thing that i REALLY hate:
income tax was supposed to be temporary to help pay for the war.
i want to go back in time i literally kill who ever thought of that bright idea.

so what about creating an ebay account with a fake name addy etc. then pay your fees through paypal which wouldnt be in the govt's jurisdiction to request information from. then what would they do?

my guess is any power seller with a Canadian address. Since ebay owns paypal, those records are likely fair game as well.

well.. our income taxes help pay for alot of good things (and bad) and although the government doesn't ever seem to spend it wisely, it is an unfortunate necessity in society now.

we are over taxed though.. and Harper just announced the federal government had a $13.7 Billion dollar surplus, of which he promptly put towards the Deficit.
I agree with paying off the deficit, but how about some relief for taxpayers for a while dammit :complain

he's announced some income tax cuts, but to the average person it will mean maybe $30 :bang whoopee

Harper and Flaherty said any savings in interest payments on the $467 billion national debt would be passed on to taxpayers under the "tax back guarantee" introduced in the March budget. But that approach, which critics have derided because it might provide tax savings of only $30 a year for average taxpayers, is just the beginning, Flaherty said.

how about getting rid of the GST!!!! which was supposed to be temporary as well. :whoa
