My new 2008 3 Sport GT rocks!

Hi all!

I've been visiting this site for a while now and just took delivery of a 2008 3 Sport GT a few weeks ago.

Got everything except the Lux Pkg and added tons of accessories. The OEM Ipod adapter certainly is taking some getting used to but the connection is clean and sounds great!

I only wish the weather was warmer so I could keep my moonroof open more often!

Look forward to spending lots more time here!

About the bug deflector... just what I heard: Apparently it disturb the air flow around your car, which affect your gas mileage. I better option might have been the clear plastic sticker, and looks cleaner in my opinion.
But if you like the look of it, that's cool too.

What other option did you get?? I was thinking about the ipod connector too, but reviews from this board weren't the best so I decided to hold off.

I share the same concern about the bug deflector but all is now bought... The other options I added were: auto dimming mirror w/ compass, metallic door scuff plates (these babies look SWEET), trunk liner, rear bumber scuff pads, LED door pocket lights (trick!) and block heater (boring!).

The LED side mirrors I am really a big fan of. They look great on the car as they add a definite bling and I've always found them to be really functional on other cars so I thought I'd give them a go.

Yes. The LED side mirrors clearly make the car go faster.

Ya. That huge antenna looks really danglee. I might have to look at a shark fin too. Hopefully it's not too expensive and keeps a good reception. I'm sure the answer is somewhere on this forum.
