Oh, they're so cute!

That being said, I'm not outright saying this is BS, but every so often these sorts of emails come out - we had this go around our office last week, so technically they're at the pound...

The story is true for the most part , except the puppies were adopted one day after they were found.

I'm confused.. Scott rescued a bunch of dogs.. but to get one you have to contact Lori at a 607 area code (google search tells me it's New York area code) or your co-worker April who has a 905 area code??

does your co-worker April actually know this Scott or Lori

well, as chinsterr said all the puppies are gone anyways..

Ouch.

Guys, like I mentioned before , the story is true and the puppies have been adopted.

People are just forwarding this email and changing the contact info to prank co-workers and such. Wouldn't it be funny if you got 100 phones calls in one day all about people looking for rescued puppies and you haven't the slightest clue what they are talking about ?
