Anyone else had issues with the radio display flickering? It seems to be dimming a bit. I wonder if it has something to do with the cold.

I'll be bringing the car in soon for the engine mount recall and to address a couple issues, so I'll bring it up then. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this and had it fixed.

Anyone?

I think I remember this being brought up before. I've had the entire display fail to light up on cold days, but after restarting the car, illuminate. Not sure what it was, its happened a couple of times but like I said, usually only if the cars been sitting outside during the winter. Post up what you hear back from the service tech.

If you experience this in the cold... That could possibly mean a cold soldered joint on the backlight in your dash?

I've experienced this on various electronics (that I made :blush) at low temperatures.

EDIT:

If this is true, and you want to fix it yourself - you might even be able to change the LED color while you're at it!! :chuckle lol (Check out the howto: change your dash LED color)
