Hello trusted members of TM3. I just got off the phone with Avante Mazda and I was asking them if a 15" steel wheel can fit on a 2004 GT sedan. They told me no, but I am looking for a second opinion since I know that 15" will work on a GX, or GS. What do you guys think? Any experiences with 15" wheels for winter?

im pretty sure the GT needs 16" rims to clear the larger brakes.

I've got a GT and 15' rims will not work.

GT models of the Mazda3 require at least 16" wheels to clear the calipers. Please use the Search feature next time, there are countless threads on this.
Lock it up, mods.

Sorry about that. I read threads on the hatch having bigger brakes, but I was not sure about the sedan since I knew that 15s were available for the gx sedan.

All 2.3 equipped vehicles must take at least a 16" rim.
Locking.

Take a peak at just how close the 16"s are when you do end up putting them on..
A 15" is a no go on any 2.3L Mazda3
