Have many people put 19" on there M3? If so, what tire size did you use? The standard 215/35ZR19 or does anyone know if 225/35ZR19 will fit fine?

it really depends how wide your rims will be. Make sure you do'nt run anything higher then 7.5.. If you're not going to lower your car then you will clear with an 8 inch rim

Nods.. the rims I listed are at 19x7.5.. so I guess it should be pretty clear.. Just not sure how it will look with the 19's.. anyone got any pictures of their car with 19's?

but what is the offset on those rims? 7.5 will need a +45 offset or +42 if not lowered

Offset is listed as: 48mm

Then thats perfect. I'd run 215/35/19 if thats the case. If yourself a little room if you're going to go low.

Thanks pearly.. only had the car for 3 weeks now and want to upgrade from the stock tires and use the 17" for winters.. Didnt need to worry about anything like this with my 02 Sonata.. cuz it was crap.. haha..
I was considering those in 19s when I was looking around, I'd be interested to see how it would look. I think you can pull off 19s, but your going to be tiptoeing around a lot of potholes and manhold covers.

FWIW, if it's a daily driver I very strongly suggest you stick with 18's at most. The ride is going to suck ass big time with 35 series rubber on 19's.

and you might get a bit of a 4x4 look if you dont lower it.
and are you in T.O.?
if so, i wouldnt suggest 19's. especially with all those trolley tracks everywhere, and bumpy roads.

uh, any of the sponsors?
oh wait, do u need 50 posts to view the sponsor's section too?
I agree with everyone. I noticed a huge change in bumps and road imperfections when I went up to 18's. Sometimes I think fark did I damage it. I can't imagine how rough 19's would feel.

I second that.... I have 18x7.5 and a 40 series tire... To be brutally honest.... The ride is rediculously bumpy at times... on the highway and on smooth pavement (that doesnt exist anywhere these days)... your going to hurt ;) That being said.... I have a full suspension set-up with sways... struts and springs... That does add to it a little. But take it from experienced guys here.... dont go bigger than 18 ;)

It a big bump with 19" and you could easilly pop those super expensive tires. 18's are expensive enough jump from 18".

FWIW, I'd sell your stock 17's and get 16's for the winter. You'll save money in the long run.
