What up guys. new to the TM3 and i got a problem and need a second opinion. I picked up an 05 Mazda 3 GT (ti. Grey) around 5 months ago and recently got the infamous "squeeky" clutch. So i took it in for an 8000km service and mentioned that the clutch squeeks when depressed. Now i've read enough threads regarding the issue, some saying to lube the clutch assembly or replace it altogether. The service advisor said that there's no way to lube the clutch, that the only way to get rid of the sound is to replace the clutch assembly. He said it'll cost me $355 for the part due to the fact that its not covered under warranty, not including the $92/hour labour charge (i have 82000km on it). He also said that its not a big problem if i continue driving with it. Just wondering if anyone can give me insight as to should the "squeeky" clutch cause me problems if i continue to drive it as is, and if so, shouldn't it be covered by warranty? The squeek is consistent every time i drive it, and can clearly be heard outside the car. Any feedback is appreciated.
