after some research I think I am going to construct a MDF sub box.

Does anyone have any pics of any customs ones they have done? Id like to do somthing that stands out. I like the look of a fiberglass one but since I have never built anything with fiberglass I am not sure if I could build one that will give me the good sound etc.

So I think MDF is a better choice for a few reasons. Ease for me to build there for it will be tighter and stonger. How ever I still want somthing that stands out a little.

are you planning on making a ported or sealed box? how many subs? what sub are you using? you can do beauty panels for the front for starters.

I have 2 12" JBL subs. I was only going to do 1 but I got a good deal on 2 so I am thinking why not use both.

And I think sealed. I listened to the JBLS in a sealed box and liked the sound. I did listen to some Rockford's in a ported but still liked the Sealed JBL's better.

what is beauty pannels?
