well got in my car after work tonight and i was welcomed with a CEL as soon as i started it. now, nothing has changed, i allready had 200km on the tank of gas(petro-can). i hadn't even been fiddling with anything lately either.
does anyone know of a tsb that would cause a spontaneous CEL to come on for no reason?

I would really suggest you clean your intake filter and check if your MAF sensor is loose. It was raining pretty heavy yesterday. Not sure if you have a hydro guard on or not.
Make sure your gas cap is tight. One time it was as simple as that for me.
Check the vacuum of the system. This includes tighetening the gas cap, and checking the intake for leakes around the MAF. I had to re-tighten my MAF and that cured my CEL.

I've already checked the above mentioned and everything seems in check. the light still persists though. i took it to the dlr this morning but they said that they were too busy to even just scan it so i have an appt there tomorrow morning to see whats going on with it.

Just got back from the dealership. The CEL ended up being because of my fuel purge solenoid valve. unfortunately this was not covered under warrenty and was a $260 bill attached to it :(
BTW: there is a new pcm update out for november.
ooooooh update :)
Glad it got fixed bro!

Are you within warranty? I had one psv done under warranty. One was after my warranty was up!
