Tire size help

Hi all, I think I may have made a mistake but thought I would check here first. For some reason I had it in my head that the tire size was 205/60/16 and so I went out and picked up a used set. Any way, as you well know the size is actually 205/55/16 so the question is, will these fit? I assume so...I would think their might be a bit of rubbing on tight turns, thats all...

Anyway, please let me know....

your tire is roughtly 3.2% taller. (12.8 inches vs. 12.4).

Hmmm....now I think about it, this would increase the ride high a bit, thats got to be safer in the winter....

EDIT

Just checked the tire size comparison calculator on 1010Tire and got 2.38%, I think the difference in %'s is due to the fact I compared the 205/60/16's to the stock 205/50/17's....so over all, they aren't that far off....

i was comparing to the 16'' specs you get.
there is a 1.0% (roughly) difference between the 205/50/17 and 205/55/16
