Just wondering, I know that the car comes equipped with this, how does it work exactly and is it still operational when you change out to winter steelies or upgrade, or is it totally independent of the type of rim you have on?

I don't think our cars come with them. I know that the new US models do, but do any Canadian models have it?

I stand corrected then. I was over on M3F and answered my question there, so thanks for the input guys, totally thought we had these.

I know some aftermarket systems use sensors that strap to the inside of the wheel. If the OEM one uses something similar, it may be possible to get new sensors and install them in any wheel.
As an aside... other aftermarket systems actually use sensors attached to the valves, which I think is stupid. :)
