They lied. You can run it fine, just that itmight not be safe since the stock 17s are 6.5 inch wide and 215 is for a 7 inch rim. But it should fine with no problems. Also you won't rub for SURE.
You're going to have bumpy winters..:)

It would install fine, but wouldn't be the right size. You should go with 215/45/17 or 205/50/17 if you can get them.
If you want more sidewall, you should get some 16's.

Perfect day to test them out!
can't wait to write up....
tried out last night, PERFECT TIRE!!
From Whitby to Scarborough at 11:45PM, city didn't get a chance to clean the road yet...my small bule3 just rush in the hiwy with a bit worry, starting from doing 60KM and then i passed a AUDI in Express, i just noticed that i was in 120KM and didn't slip a bit. god!!
with that tires, just felt my car was driven in heavy rain with stock RS-A. however when i arrived in city, they already put the salt down, heavy snow cover on top of icey water, WS60 starts spin a bit at 1st and 2nd gear(around 2000RPM), but got traction back very quick. ( i saw lots of cars parked in Kennedy...lol...)
this morning, drove in/out the praza through the snow bump (thx after city sv the stree), WS60 ran out no problem, not even stuk in.
BTW, didn't feel too bumpy when driving at the heavy snow. they look very good. i just felt lucky i got tire changed the day b4.

Wow...its really hard to read what you just wrote.
Wow...its really hard to read what you just wrote.
sorry about that.
Only problem with Blizzaks are that they are only good for 2-3 winters.

I've heard that before. I'm just starting my 3rd winter with mine though, and they look like they'll last at least one more after this. Time will tell, but I was out today and the seemed good as new.
They will last longer then 3 winters but the special compound is only like 55% of the tire, the rest is only "regular" winter compound so once it wears past 55% you're running basic winter tires.

I can't wait to write up.I tried out last night, its a PERFECT TIRE!!
From Whitby to Scarborough at 11:45PM, the city didn't get a chance to clean the road yet. My small bule Mazda 3 was able to drive on the highway with little worry. I started doing 60KM and then I passed an AUDI in the Express lanes. I then noticed that I was doing 120KM/h and didn't slip a bit. God!!
With those tires, it just felt like my car was driving in heavy rain with the stock RS-As. I saw lots of cars parked in Kennedy this morning! I drove in and out of the plaza through the snow bump (thanks after the city save the stree), the WS60s drove in the city no problem.
By the way, the drive didn't feel too bumpy when driving in the heavy snow. They look very nice. I just feel lucky that I had my tires installed the day before!
