Does anyone know if the stock '04 Acura RSX rims will fit an '07 Mazda3 GT? The rims look like these: http://img72.imageshack.us/img72/1600/41348527wj8.jpg
Wanted to know as well if these Prelude allow rims would fit as well.......

Both sets are 16" 5x114, but I'm not sure of the other specs.
Does anyone know if these sets would fit my car without trying them on????
Thanks everyone for your input.

Doh?!?!?!
Looks like I will have to take the time to try them on. It's all good. I was just trying to avoid that step as it's freezing outside. But if no one knows, then I have no other choice.

You can't necessarily use hub adapters on other OEM wheels. Since they're made in the correct size for their application, they don't have the tapered edge on the inside to fit an adapter.
Also, if the hub size is smaller, then the only option would be to have them bored out by a machine shop.

There was an old thread somewhere where someone tried to fit the RSX rims on their 3. No go.

The hub size for Acura RSX is 64.1, but it's 67.1 for us. So they do not fit.

I can't imagine any reason they'd change the hub size on the RSX, so I'm guessing no. You should be able to look this up on RSX forums though. Find out the hub size.

prelude rims will fit 100% i purchased a set off of a prelude owner. Mine is an 05 though i doubt that they changed the bolt pattern or the offset
as for the rsx i am unsure

OEM Prelude and RSX wheels will not fit the 3. They are all 64.1mm CB. However aftermarket wheels for Prelude and RSX will probably fit the 3.

Aftermarket for either will fit the 3. Aftermarket wheels use larger hub bores. Then you use adapters to make them the proper size.
You really only need to worry about the offset and bolt pattern.
The problem is that OEM wheels are made to fit the hub of the car, so if the hub is smaller than ours, as the RSX is, then they won't fit on the 3.
I have no idea about the Prelude.

Hub sizes have been confirmed (via Wheel and Tire Guide- 2007)
2004-2007 Mazda3 bore 67.1
2002-2007 RSX bore 64.1
1997-2001 Prelude bore 64.1

Good stuff. Neither OEM wheels will fit then.

Just use a 3mm spacer, it "should" fit.

The hub on the Mazda3 is bigger the the bore of the rim of the OEM RSX/ Prelude rims. In other words, if you put those rims on our car it will not sit flush even though the bolt pattern is the same.

If you have some Honda/Acura wheels you can't use I'll be glad to take them!
