FedEx question...

Just wondering,
If FedEx comes to deliver a package, and nobody's home to sign for it....
Where does it go?

Does it go to the post office for pick up like other packages??

I'm expecting the gift for my wife but we both work days....

goes to the Fedex depot. After three attempts you will have to pickup.

They will leave you a door knocker 2 times which you can sign to authorize them to leave the package at the door if you are not home, or you could go to the FedEx store with the door knocker to pick it up, call ahead they will tell you where to go to do so!

They'll probably ask you to go near the airport to pick it up. Unless its a package from Apple or a few other select companies, I believe you can request that it be dropped of to a closer drop-off centre.
