Hey Guys.
Im sure this has been discussed in the past - And I HAVE used the search function, but Im not getting any results.

So I have an 04 GT ATX, the issue has been for the past day is that when I start up the car and put it into reverse.. I get a violent shaking / Vibration and not necessarily a grinding noise, but a noise that isn't normal.
It only happens while the car is in Reverse and ONLY while Im at a full stop with full brakes on. When I let the brakes slide a little to let the car move... its gone.

No noticeable issues in any other gears. Any ideas???

Is your engine warmed up? I get that right after I start the car when the weather is really cold.

Anyone else think that it may be a busted engine mount?

I have a similar problem, I was thinking it was an engine mount. I have a 2.3 '05 hatch, is there a fix for the engine mount or mounts?

Sometimes it makes a wierd noise when I start it up.

If it is the engine mount, its just a simple replacement.
