There isn't one for the Mazda 3.
But the Cosworth intake manifold for the Ford Focus Duratec is what people are using. There are some modifications to make it work. Drilling and tapping holes......shaving down some metal.
It not perfect bolt on item....

Not to mention it's also cable driven to add to the list of modifications needed to get it done....
(at least you know it's possible though! :) )

That one posted had a cable TB, but I was under the impression people had used the stock TB as well. I'll look for the thread I saw...
You've got some modification to do, but it would work. One last step before you gotta boost ;)

The stock throttle body will work.......but to get more airflow......you would need to go with a larger throttle body which would be cable driven, unless you can fab something up to use the stock servo and to have it cable drive the larger throttle body
Lots of good information in this thread....

I think the engines are pretty close to the same......and thats why the manifold works.
The manifold bolts up to the engine without any problems......its just the area around the throttle body that needs a little modification.......and I believe the focus has a cable driven TB.
But its looks very do able with the right tools.
I wonder if it would really provide us with that much improvement though.......because the limiting factor would still be the mazda throttle body? Any thoughts on this?
Its $700 dollars......so its pretty pricey......
I've wanted some cams, but this might be an easier route. My question is would you need to remap? Could you run this part with the stock cpu?

Goodluck getting this piece too if you decide to buy it... It's been out-of-stock in almost all online sellers with an indefinite time when they would get more...
Some websites say that they are in-stock, but i'd strongly advise calling/contacting them directly to confirm..

WOW that guy's mazda3 from the first post (link) isREALLY impressive. On a personal note if I was going to do THAT much work to a mazda3 to make it 400+hp when you could take the same money and buy a true sports car (not a fwd 4 door.. not that there is anythign wrong with that just not the best performance platform in the world...). I FULLY understand people mod there cars to get better performance at cheaper insurance rates and gas. But that guy would be DUMPING money into that car for gas with that setup. And if he has the money to do all those mods, you can clearly afford a "sports car". He must just REALLLY like the Mazda3 I guess... :S
