I want to know if any of you have purchased any major fitness equipment (treadmills, ellipticals, weight benches, stationary bikes etc.) in November or December of 2007.

If you do and you still have the original receipt for it, I may want to make a deal with you to buy the receipt off you.

Let me know what you bought, the date of purchase and how much it cost.

TO MODs: I wasn't sure to post this in the BUY&SELL or here. Please move it if you think it is in the wrong forum.

Of course, but let's see if someone comes up with anything first and I will tell the story! Actually, it's quite a simple idea...not really a story at all.

Just want to add more to this post.

I've thought about the details:

I will pay 10% of the cost of the equipment for your receipt up to maximum of $40. So if you bought a weight bench for $300, I will pay $30 for your receipt.

Also, I want to be clear that I am not doing anything illegal.

basically his work most likely refunds the money for the equipment back to him...

A lot of business have this to promote healthy living

+ 1 ..... Also, some companies will allow you to expense sports equipment under the same plan. My GF got her new skiis pretty much paid for.

I thought this to but he did state to me it wasn't "illegal."

That would be called FRAUD in this case, and the poster specified that he is doing nothing illegal!

haha Geez, I didn't it was so hard to find a receipt. I am practically giving away money for a sheet of paper that you might never need.

I know that. But I never said that's what I am doing?! It's other people saying that's what I am doing.

Tell us what you are doing, so we can be sure it isn't illegal.

I bought an elliptical from Canadian tire for $300. I'd have to scrounge around for the receipt, but I'm sure it's around.
