6 CD in dash player problem/question?

Hello,

I have a 2006 Mazda 3 GT with a 6-CD in dash CD player. (I'm kind of noob forgive this question.)

How are you supposed to load multiple CD's into the player? I read the manual, and it says to hold the LOAD button until it BEEPS, and then select the disk number you want to load.

I press load...and it does not beep at all. Then when i let go of the load button it makes a sound like it's trying to load a single CD...but it won't let me select which CD slot to load it into.

The manual also says that you can turn the BEEP off if you press the load + power button at the same time for 2 seconds...so I tried that but I still don't get a BEEP noise. I tried the "multiple CD insertion" method...which is to hold the LOAD button down until it BEEPS, then hold load again until it says WAIT. So i hold the LOAD button down for a LONG TIME (still no BEEP), let it go...then hold it down again...but I get no WAIT on the CD display.

Three easy steps.

1. Push the LOAD button ONCE.
2. Wait until it LCD screen says IN
3. Load the CD Disk into the player, repeat

The LCD never says iIN. It just makes a noise whenever I push it...but it never says IN. Whether I hold it and then let it go, or just push it...it doesn't say anything. Is this normal?

Have you had trouble with this b4?

This is not normal BTW i would take it in for a warranty issue.
