My drivers seat squeaks and rocks back when I take off from a dead stop. I've taken it to my dealer but they say the rock and squeak are normal but the rock has gotten worse and as for the squeak all they did was spray lubricant on the tracks.
Has anyone else had this issue?
Cheers,
rob

I don't have either issue with my seat (So contrary to what the dealer says, I don't think its normal), I have heard of the squeaking problem but never a rocking back and forth...Have you tried checking that the seat rail bolts and/or other bolts are tight? ...could just be an easy fix.

I have checked, when it first started but I haven't checked recently.
I've been meaning to get it back into the dealer but I've been insanely busy and they want it left there for a couple of hours.
Thanks for the help.
Cheers,

For the squeeks here is most likely the fix. Take some lubricant and spray between the driver seat and center console. There is a bolt there that holds up the end of the seatbelt "part". Spray and rotate it at the same time and I'm pretty confident this will fix the problem.
This happened on my 06Sport GT at around 3500kms, and on my Speed3 at around 700kms and I did what I wrote and it fixed the problem. The squeeks were driving me nuts.

I had the squeaky seats way back in november 06. I took to my dealer and they fixed it by replacing the driver seat's rail system and they also lube it with white lithium grease. Ever since, no more squeaks! :)

I agree they lied....this is absolutely abnormal. I had mine replaced (under warranty) at Mississauga Mazda about a year ago (my car was 2.5 yrs old that time)...it took them quiet a while to replace the rail of the seat....(I got in at 6pm and didn't leave until 8:30ish)....all free of charge.

I have the exact same issue on my 07 Sports.
Im now at my second visit with Gyro to have it fixed. I had brought it in and told them to fix this.
I picked up my car and the report said it had been fixed.
5 minutes on the road, squeek is still there.
Gyro are asshats!
