Ok...so my friend is selling these wheels to me for a GREAT price. I'm just trying them on for now. Volk SF Winning 19x8 +42 offset w 235/35/19 tires. I like them a lot, but I think they stick out a little. I'm hoping that a major drop will make it look good. Please take a look at the pics and let me know if these'll look ok with a drop or if they are just too big for the car. I'm not too worried about rolling the fenders as long as the car looks good.

Also, I'm planning to drop my MS3 with some springs. Any recommendations on springs that will lower the MS3 the most? Sorry, but coilovers are not an option right now ($$$). I found a few others that are using Tein S Techs for a Mazda3, would these be ok?

Thanks!

If you lower, you will not only rip your tire but your car to shreds!

That tire doesn't fit properly it sticks out wayyyyyy to much. As much of a deal as it might be, its not worth it.

Check those dimensions again of his rims again, thats obviously not the right sizing for your MS3.

Very nice wheels but the fitment is not working for yah. Some camber from a drop will help but even with that you would need to go with a smaller tire. Possibly a 225 or 215 but stretched tires might look odd with how the lip is on those wheels.

Their great and all but you look like your sticking out a good inch! Did you move the car after mounting the tire? to let the suspension settle again? that could be accounting for some of the poke...

not feeling it dude sorry.

Not to mention you're going to decrease the handling and maybe accelleration of your car.

you need 48+ offset with 235, not to mantion its ugly first, after u run over a bumper, you will feel guilty for your car.

hey r00k... i'm diggin' the rims, but to be honest it isn't sitting right on your ms3. What everyone above said is true... might wanna reconsider no matter how good the price is for the rims. you're not left with much options with lowering it and making it look proper.

I wonder what the specs are on those rims...cause thats some funky offset....

and what car was it from?

none the less, you cant really go to low, anything is possible, but your car wont ride right, cause the only way i see that working is, camber kits, getting right amonut of negative camber and as well rolling the fenders...

yet the ride quality and tire life aint going to be the best....

looks like you gotta sell those rims and find the proper offset rim

too many variables involved in making those work on your car, man. that's the terrific thing about this forum besides the helpful info: constructive criticism.. painful at times but mostly helpful.

Rub for sure when you're dropping it. Those wheels have very low offset for 235 tires. Even without lowering it, you will rub in some places/situations.
