condensation in all the lights/housing

I've owned a new '08 sport gt for about a month now, and have noticed that there is condensation in the front and rear lights/housing. This doesn't happen all the time, but have anyone of you had this problem?

I use to own a civic with aftermarket lights, and a condensation problem implied a break/crack in the seal (required silicon to fix it).

I think this is cover under warranty correct?

worth a try for dealer good will given it is only a month or so old

I had this problem with the right front headlight on our Sienna. The Toyota dealer replaced it under warranty and it has been problem free for 2 years.

According to Mazda this is normal and not covered under warranty.

headlights and fogs are diff, because the condensation can cause the bulbs to blow.

Condensation in the light fixtures is normal according to Mazda?? ...sorry I don't think so, I for one have never had that problem, ever, so I deduce that its not normal and should be covered under the 3yr/80k warranty.The complete vehicle, excluding specific wear items is covered according to the Mazda warranty booklet, and I would think that includes light fixtures and the sealing of!

I hear you and it sucks. I also do not have this problem (knock on wood) but I think a certain amount of condensation is considered normal. And I'm pretty sure Mazda isn't the only manufacturer to see it this way. I think it follows similar idea of dead pixels on LCDs - a certain percentage is considered normal (by certain manufacturers).
Now if you have enough water in there for a fish to call home...that's a different story.

All my front and rear light housings have this at times, particularly after having gone through a wash. However, it always clears itself and goes away on its own shortly after. I wouldn't consider it an issue if it clears itself up.

Exact same as me, and when it's really dense with moisture (heavy fog) first thing some summer mornings. All the housings have a vent hole for air pressure so take that into consideration. Honestly, the little moisture that I do get, is gone within 30min.

Now when I baked my headlights then it fogged up, that was another story. Fixed that thou. The headlights alone have 4 vent holes per housing.

I fail to see how that makes headlights and foglights different? Both come from the factory with halogen bulbs (on my car).

BTW, a fix that GM does on a lot of their cars for this is to drill a small hole at the bottom of the housing to allow drainage. This works very well in most cases.
