Has anyone encountered this problem? I own 2004 Mazda 3, 4 door GT.
When I use the remote to unlock the doors, and open the driver or passenger door, the door locks are going haywire, just like someone is feverishly locking/unlocking the doors. It goes away when I start the vehicle.
I also happens when I turn the ignition off and remove the keys from the ignition. It stops when I close the door.

The door locks and unlocks fine, the only time the problem surfaces is when i turn the ignition off or when I unlock the doors and get in the vehicle.

Its a wierd problem, Iam thinking along the lines that the door lock switch needs to be replaced.

Anyone else encounter this?

Hey man, I actually just started having that problem as well. Just this past weekend it did it once in my car while I was rolling the window down...I thought my gf was screwing with it, but she wasn't. This morning on my way to work....IT DID IT THE ENTIRE WAY...not only is it annoying but leaves me worrying about the car. Taking it into the dealership ASAP...

I don't understand the question. For the door locks, for sure bring it into a dealership and take a peak.

As for this one:

I no idea what you are asking, is it the windows? or the door locks?

Ok that's strange. Your cars may be possessed.

This happened to my friends 2000 Protege. I'll ask him what it was, but I know he had it fixed by the dealer.

Is the button on your remote sticking by any chance? You could try the other remote.....
