I have been experiencing recurring problems with LED dome lights purchased through Devin. They seem to be burning very frequently and Devin has replaced them for me a few times. However right now a question has risen whether it’s a problem related to the lights themselves or is it an issue specific to my car alone.

So now I need your feedback:
If you do have the LED dome lights that have been purchased through Devin do they burn out just as well as mine do?

My Eurolite ones are still going strong. Been on for about a year already.

Maybe it's just the one's he's selling?

I got mine off some website, so I'm not sure about they relate to Devins. Mine turns on about 50% of the time. I thought it was burned out at first, but a couple days later it would turn back on again. It might have something to do with the cold weather, since it feels like it doesn't turn on after I leave the car outside for a long duration. Not sure if you're having this problem too.

yea i think its the product which is over priced for the shit quality/service... its been 3 months since mine burned out and still no replacement in sight... its pretty ****ing annoying having only one working light in the front

Got mine from Crappy Tire about 10 months ago.

All of them on one have gone, and I only get light from 1 LED on the other.

Originally they had 4 per bulb.

mine work perfectly fine, i had an issue with one of the bulbs (the license plate one), the actual leds fell off, probabaly leds weren't glued properly but all others work well for over a year now

As a member who hasn't gone to the LED yet, I gotta admit you guys are definitely making me second guess this mod.:loco

the only mod i will never touch is LED light, stock light is good enough, i am not care about how easy they may burn out, but they may burn ur entire interior and this happens offen.

LED's take up less power that stock bulbs and that what fuses are for. I've never heard of any interiors burning due to a faullty LED light.

The problem with these units is that there is no voltage regulating circuit built within the LED light unit itself. What they usually do is wire 3 in series (3.1v nominal voltage for each emitter) and direct drive them with our 12v (13-14v in reality). What they need to do is, wire a 1watt resistor in series to drop the voltage down to a safe level. For those of you with white LEDs, do you find a difference in the actual colour turning towards blue before they crap out? Overvoltage is the cause of these failures.

Bought my leds from Superbrightleds.com and have had no problems. Great service and great lights! Just purchased a bunch more of their newer bulbs and will see how those go.

I've been using LED interior lights for a while now and never had any problems with them. I had the same lights from my other car and transferred them to the 3. Only thing is the dome LED is emitting a very faint light when you have the switch on "door", really faint that you only see it at night and there's no other lights around. Other than that, no problemo!

mailed via regular post and it took about 10 days or so... They charge $5 shipping but you will probably get hit with duties depending on the total as they mark their shipping with proper amounts.

Back to Devin's LEDs... does he use the same supplier as Myk? I haven't heard any complaints with the LEDs Myk gets, I even have some of them.

Its possible that Devin gets his from the same supplier, but devin's are the only ones with issues. So it would seem that he gets his from someone different.
