I have noticed a strange issue with the 3's rear windows in my hatch

One of the heating lines (from the rear window defroster )across the window seems to have malfunctioned. I am dumbfounded about this one

I am also finding that the power of that rear window defroster has always been on the weak side. (it takes many many minutes to become effective)

finally, there is moisture on the interior of that window this winter some on the front as well. Could there be a leak? something else?
Does someone know what may be causing such issues?
thanks

Defrosters can go bad. If there is a bad connection on it, it would account for it having been weak, and now being broke. You can get some stuff to repair it. I believe it's practically painted on. If you can find where the disconnect is, you can fix it yourself.

As for the moisture... can you find where it's coming in, or is it just condensation? If it's condensation, you can start by cleaning the windows. You'll have a lot less condensation if it's got nothing to form around.
