hey guys, i have a protege5 and i believe im upgrading to a 3 very soon, i have 17" work wheels on my protege with a +47 offset and a 7.5" rim, now obviously the tires wont fit but what it the key offset for the 3?

You shouldn't have any issues with rim fitment.

What size are the tires.

215/40/17, i believe i would have to replace them with something slightly bigger, but im not 100% sure, trying to find out now

but its on a 7.5 inch rim, so it should be the right rotation, it will just look a little funny

AHHHH, sorry its on a 7.0" RIM!!!!! so i would definately have to replace the tires. . .

on a 17" rim....if you get 215 tires, then 45 should just about be right compared to stock size (GT).

in regards to width and offset, i don't see a problem with what you have.

okay thanks, i could even switch the stock tires over to these rims couldnt i? if the stock rim size is 7" and not 6.5"

stock rim size is 6.5 but you could run those tires if you wished. If your talking about the stock RSAs 205/50, then just remember that you will not have as much lip protection as you would with a 215. I still would suggest 215/45/17 to be mounted on those rims, but if you need to save some cash for a year then by all means that will work out.

okay thanks, im not even sure if i will keep these wheel, not sure what a bronze wheel would look like on a silver 3. . . :S
