Lugnuts

Does anyone know the difference between short and long lugnuts other than for cosmetic reasons? (i.e. do certain rims require one or the other)

I can't seem to find any information anywhere....

you need 12x1.5 short nuts for your rims and get black nuts. the long nuts will be little too long, i dont like the look IMO.

i just found 27 chrom nuts and key at this size (but they are chrom), if you want them, i can give to you for free.
