Broken headlight

hi everyone, I have new 08 Mazda 3 sedan since last Oct. Just few days ago, the passenger side headlight was hit by stone chip on highway and cracked.:bang
Is Mazda 3's headlight interchangeable with different year make? Reason is my cousin has a used 05 pair of headlight sitting is his basement in Vancouver. Any input is appreciated. Thanks.
