I have searched and realize this has been talked about numerous time already.

I took my 3 in last July to have my stereo faceplate replaced under warranty as a button had popped off. At that time I had the dealership look at my brake's which I paid for them to do. I had advised them that they squeak in the cold, or going slow. They said they had taken my brakes all apart and said nothing was wrong.

Well still my brakes are squeaking like a an elephant riding a tricycle. I found this service bulletin http://www.finishlineperformance.com/pdf/mazda3/bulletin/04-007-06-1570.pdf

My VIN does fall inbetween the ones they have listed. My question is should I go back to the same dealer and ask them to fix it and reimburse me for the cost from last time, or should I go to a different dealer?

Should I bring a copy of the recall with me as well to show them?

Thanks all.

If you went to one of the better dealers, (e.g. MOT / Avante) they might.
But if you want to one of the dealers that has been consistently getting bad reviews, good luck.

I had this problem with a few other cars I drove. Took off the shims, brushed some copper slip on them and good bye noise :)

I have had this problem right from day 1 and I have checked it out at the dealer only to find out that there is nothing wrong with the breaks but the dealer did apply some lube (thats what he told me)...the problem is still there anyway...Squeek when releasing and Squeal when pressing onto it (winters)

Sqeek often happens when the brakes are cold or in reverse when cold. Goes away after the rotors have warmed up.

Brake noise is #1 complaint for our cars...
