Not my taste but looks very sharp and you've done a pretty good work there. Looks different...but to each there own.

I appreciate the time + effort you spent working on your car. Time spent in and around one's own car is time well spent.

You know.. I know a place that does plastic chroming... I might see if I could maybe get that done to my cover..

I like it. I like it a lot.

Good example of simplicity making a big impact.

I dunno about painting the battery cover and fuse box, maybe just accents. I'd look into something like a yellow hose joint to replace your blue one by your intake filter.

Something like this:

That's gonna take a lot of work.

Can't say I like it. Too.... yellow.

And it looks like you got the wrong shade of yellow if you were trying to match the other car. It looks like they used school-bus yellow (yes, that's a colour).

+1 I like very much!!!

I was thinking of doing the mesh a color and the rest piano black.... Whats the quick and dirty how to? What Paint did you use? and did you sand it down?

Thanks

i did sand it down before and in between... i used caliper paint because it has a rubbery/durable feel to it

Do you know the grade? So you used the duplicolor caliper paint from CT...I guess your calipers are yellow :) I got the blue for mine...will do the mesh blue and piano black the rest.

Also did you take the tape after it had dried? or while it was still fresh?

Sorry for the questions but I was really thinking of doing this soon!

i just had some really fine sand paper that i used, i edged the tape with a knife and then removed the tape so i got a clean line

Looks good, Yellow not sure of but its growing on me. Id for sure leave it at that. Id stay away from painting the fuse/battery box. That will be too much. But thats my taste and you do what floats your boat.

Nice job, though very clean.

I really like it, well done. Gotta see it in person. Yellow is different.

I'm really a fan of vibrant colors on black. I think the 70s-80s style of bright contrasts will be coming alive again.

not bad james.
i would've just painted the whole thing lol

if i were to do mine i'd do it red just to keep with the theme of the car.
otherwise it looks good

I like. It probably is following the color scheme you have with your car. Its subtle. So its not distracting to look at when the hood is popped. Its like having all your hoses the same color.

This is just the right amount of accenting for an engine bay.

x2. i may try it on blue to match the SRI. but its nice "mod" on yellow, looks fresh and different.

You know.. man I'm glad Cobb has picked blue for all it's items on the Speed3..LOL
I intend on keeping with the Blue parts theme in my car.
