While in the cold weather, after starting my car, I can hear a metal to metal sound. The sound coincides with the revs on the engine. I have heard this sound on other cars when idling (at a stoplight for example) I have no idea what it is.
I am about 4000km since my last check up. and I am taking it in later this week for standard maintenance.
The question is...
Is this something to be concerned about (worth mentioning to the dealership)? or should it be ignored?
thanks

I think I have the samething...I noticed that one morning this winter....there was a screeching sound coming from the engine compartment and it was on the passenger side....I think its belt.....it goes away when the car warms up though so I thought its just one of those things all cars do when they are started in the cold....As the weather has warmed up I dont notice it anymore....however Im going to get it checked with the dealer....
