I brought my 3gt into the dealership for my 2 year brake service. Interesting issue came up.
I noticed my power steering seemed very tight.
I checked under the hood and noticed that the power steering fluid level is very much above the "max" line indicated right on the car. (more so than when i brought it in)
Can these issues be related? Is this a cause for concern? thoughts?

It shouldnt make a difference but its a mazda i wouldnt be surprised if it does lol
just take a clean rag and put it in the reservoir and that will pull out the fluid. Just try not to get any fluid on the body because i am unsure of what they use for p/steering fluid

Make dure the rag is lint free, you don't want to get anything, even lint in your power steering system and Check your brake fluid level while your at it...they could have screwed up and filled your ps reservoir instead of the brake reservoir! ...I know not possible right? ...but you never know!

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHh
BIG ROOKIE MiSTAKe
It was the engine coolant, (that is above the max line in the car) not the power steering.
Is that an issue?
sorry bout that?

the level will change with the temperature of the fluid...high when hot down when cold, check while its cold..
