hey, has anyone ever bought rims off ebay and had them shipped up here?
the reason i ask is because they have a ton of rim packages for about 300 dollars or so and shipping is anywhere from 200-350.

im asking also, because i was curious if any knew what the duty fees would be like on something like this?

thanks

Buying rims off eBay is hardly ever worth it! $300 is a great deal, then a minimum of $200 shipping, and your at $500 + taxes = $565, and thats before you get dinged brokerage, or duties etc etc. You will be well over $600, and you can buy wheels for that locally.

Let also keep in mind, that a lot of stuff on eBay can be fakes, blems, etc. If you get a wheel with a scratch, are you going to pay to ship it back, and wait for another?

All things to keep in mind :)
