Sorry guys, kind of a wheel noob

On a 2007 3 GT (sedan):

18"

7.5 wide

5x114.3 bolt pattern

+42 offset

Also, what is the best size tire (if these do indeed fit).

Do they look good? How much would you pay?

Thanks A LOT!

Saw that it works with 225/40/18 (can anyone confirm?)

Speedo will be 3.1% too fast, sounds good, no tickets for me

I use 225/40/18 for my 18x7.5 also. However, on the tire calculator it wasn't 3.1% off, it was much much less.

What calculator did you use for that?? Or are you driving an MS3?

That fitment can work. Depending on your drop you may rub because it will pretty much be pushing the limit to the fenders. I'd personally get a tire that does does have such a square side wall (like falken) as that can easily shave off 1-2mm.

45+ would be optimal but if you have your heart set on those ones then there are things you can do to prevent rubbing
- adjust camber
- 215/45
- roll fenders

if your car is mz3, you can go 17X7 +42 215/45/17 with no problem (the tires wont fit these rims), but these are 18X7.5, the max you can go is 225/40/18 if you are stock. if you are plannibg to drop, you need to let go these rims, they dont fit mz3.

There are a couple people actually running this size, it all depends on your setup. Running 8" with a +48 pushes just the same to the fender as this setup.

My bad, inputted the numbers wrong.

So consensus is that no rub if stock? That's good... how much would you guys pay for just the rims?

Thanks

To reduce rubbing.. you can run 205/45R18

Or: 215/40R18

Id say I wouldn't, if you were going to drop you would rub. I have a +45 and am not happy with them at all. If I drop I will rub for sure.

Just my opinon.
