Power wire for AMP WTF?

Where the hell is this hole everyone is talking about by the clutch pedal that you use to run you power wire to your battery for your amp?

Ive been messing around under there for a hour and can't find anything?

I feel the rubber behind the clutch bracket but can't get anything through that!

And Id rather bring the power in on the drivers side.

They must be talking about the hole to which the hood release cable runs through the firewall. Find the cable and trace it back to the firewall and there ya go.

ya perhaps thats the one....I hear of everyone talking about the one for the clutch.

I couldn't find it either so I ended up having a hole drilled about 2 to 3 inches above the clutch hole. (at least from what I remember I drilled it 2 to 3 incheas above teh clutch.

There's also a spot on the passenger side behind the glove box. That's where mine is routed to the engine bay. No holes to drill at all.

No, people are talking about the clutch pedal passage. On those with an auto trans, there is just a plastic cap covering the hole where the clutch normally passes through. If you have a manual trans you need to go through the grommet behind the glove box. :)

nope I was able to go through where the hood release cable was. It was actually very easy. I pushed through a coat hanger very carefully and then taped my wire too it and pulled it back through. Now mind you the rubber gromet doesn't sit nice and tight and seal very well anymore so I will add somthing to that to seal it up again. Other then that its nice and the hood release works perfectly.

thanks nicker... I went through the hood release gromet as well... used a "fish line" that are used in construction to run power wires through finished walls and ceilings. Had to lube the power wire before fishing it through though, after that it slid right through.

Ditto, went through the hood release cable hole. Mine is packed pretty tight, with a 4g power wire and wires for DRL-bypass. My car is stick too, I figured the drivers side would be alittle easier due to the battery located on the same side.
