View Full Version : Audiolink Itouch issues
i just installed a new audiolink adapter in my car and use it to play my ipod touch.
Unfortunately, I have this annoying problem that keeps pausing my itouch when I play music. I was wondering if someone else is having this problem. I'm trying to figure out if it's a ipod problem or Audiolink problem.
Any success stories with itouch and audiolink? Should I return my Audiolink or return my ipod?
Was the Audiolink compatable with the touch? Give em a shout to make sure, maybe there's a firmware update.
They do advertise it as compatible with the Itouch.
I have contacted them, but the only thing they told me was to get the latest Ipod software update, which I already have.
I have done some research on the net and a few people have the same problem (not specific to Mazda or Audiolink) and they mention that the manufacturer of the adapter provided them with an update to their firmware.

So that leads me to believe there might be something a bit different about the Itouch that might needs to be taken care of by the manufacturer of car adapters.

Anyone having issues with the Audiolink and their Ipods rebooting (mine is a 3rd gen nano) everytime you restart the car if it`s left plugged in.
