So i bought a pair of Mtec cosmo blue whites off ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/9005-MTEC-Cosmos-Blue-White-Halogen-Headlight-Bulbs_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ36476QQihZ025QQit emZ380019479807QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW

installed them today and i have to say they look pretty weak for drl's...my stock are soooo much brighter...when i try the highbeams they look ALOT better so is there a problem with my headlights, connections, the bulbs or are they just like this?? i have an 07 btw here are some pics:

It says in posts 8 and 14 that they aren't too good in terms of output.

ya, stock lights are way brighter than those aftermarket hid look alike bulbs.

at night, with my hid's on, i can barely notice my highbeams when i turn them on

so i guess there arent any aftermarket bulbs that match up to stock output for DRL?

Just use OEM. The aftermarket bulbs are all teh suck....unless you buy something like PIAA however they go for 60-80$ and still burn out faster than OEM. Stay away from any bulb thats coated.

Two sets of PIAA bulbs and you have yourself a cheapy HID kit that should last a couple of years.

Save up for HID, otherwise go for the OEM (Sylvania is the replacement from the dealer)

Another option is finding aftermarket lights in which are the SAME indentical stock wattage...

only company I can think of is Eurolite....
