Glad to see that Heikki escaped that crash with only a concussion.

That was an incredible accident. Saw the front left tire completely obliterate and he was along for the ride into the tire barrier. I couldn't help but think of Michael Schumacher at Silverstone when he broke his leg.

Uneventful race though. The "prancing horses" has too much pace for the others to match. If it wasn't for the two safety cars the two Ferrari's would have crossed the line well over 30 seconds ahead of the others. I was surprised that Alonso managed to place his car head of McLaren. I think it had more to do with fuel load then actual pace.

Biggest plus though goes to BMW Sauber. Kubica was on. Unfortunately, he wasn't able to push hard enough to challenge Lewis for 3rd. BMW-Sauber will win a race this year, I'm convinced of it. I really felt sorry for David Coulthard though. It seems everyone is plowing into him at every turn. Poor guy spends more time in the pits changing front wings and tires than actually lapping.

Keep Super Auguri Honda in your prayers. I'd hate to see them fold.

the BMW Saubers are definitely contenders this year. Kubica is driving really well.

and yes, poor David Coulthard. it seems to be happening a lot though..almost too much for some people to believe it's not Coulthard's fault..though i'm pretty sure it isn't.

Heidfeld should have been in the points as well if it hadn't been for the dumb-ass rule to penalize a driver when he comes in for fuel after the pits have been closed. The pits were closed because of the accident on the track and it happened to coincide with Heidfeld's pit window. If he obeys the rule he runs out of fuel on the track while they lap behind the pace car. He goes against the rule as is issued a stop a go 10 second penalty. This happed to Barrichello during the last race as well.

They need to change this rule. You can't penalize a driver because of an accident on the track they had nothing to do with.

^^^agreed.

Also, I can't believe Sutil''s results this year. Out on the first lap in 3 races already.
