2008.5 Mazda 3 GT stereo wattage power

Hi everyone,

I am new here, so please to meet everyone :)

I have a question regarding the new 2008.5 Mazda 3 GT. I am unable to find out what the wattage is on the Premium stereo package that comesin these cars. Even the Mazda site itself is lacking information? The civics si have a 350 watt stereo, so I "assume" that the Mazda 3 Gt is near this, but not sure.

Does anyone have any information on this?

I have read that the Bose runs around 222 watts. Not sure if anyone else knows but that's all I've found from what I've read. :)

Does the 2008.5 GT come with a Bose stereo? If it's not the Bose stereo, you are going to be very disappointed as I can assure you it's nowhere near 350 watts (IMO likely closer to 50 watts).

those numbers are more marketing BS then anything.

I hope you aren't using that as the reason to buy or not buy a car.

The GT with the luxury package option comes with the Bose

Yes, it does have the BOSE stereo, but that still doesn't give me actual wattage #s

I can vouch for the BOSE sound system. They are more than good enough for the average listeners. I love them!

The Bose does a half decent job in my car. Of course, its not up to par with good aftermarket gear (but then again, not many oem stereos are..), but its adequate. I love my Sirius service, the ipod plug, and the 6 CD changer. Its also well intergraded with the steering wheel controls.

Just change your deck. Once you do, you'll be sooooo satisfied, you wouldn't look back.
