2008.5 Stereo Problem After Adding an Amp?

Not sure if this is the right thread or would be best under technical issues but with this whole volume issue after "35," has anyone installed an 4 channel amp and/or sub amp and still have that issue?

Whoa, ur pushing Volume 35? I've never gone past 25.

Describe your setup and situation a bit more.

Keep in mind the stock deck doesn't put out much power and may not be enough to output to your amp and then to the speakers. It'll be weak.

The 2008.5 volume rage is different from previous models. This volume issue has been discussed in another thread but when I go from 34 to 35 the is a noticeable volume increase and if I leave the volume above 34 there is intermittent periods where the bass cuts in and out. I'm thinking of adding JL audio speaker, sub and amp.

Do you have the Bose or non-Bose system in your 3? Either way, I can't see going all the way up to 34-35 good for either the system or your hearing. Is that will all types of media, or from an iPod/MP3 player hooked up through the AUX jack? Hopefully it's the latter.
