Can ya'll confirm this for me?
17x7 = check
Dual 5 bolt pattern = check
Not slammed = check
Just checked ET: 35 = :(
According to the calculator: http://www.1010tires.com/WheelOffsetCalculator.asp
I'll be extending out and extra 23mm ??
Is there danger in doing this? or is it gonna look retarded?
I assume that this will cause the geometry to be out of whack and could have implication on tire wear or even clearance around the breaks?
I have a feeling it'll look retarded sticking out too much and I might have to sell these old rims and buy a new set
... don't tell the fiance :whoa

Not an expert, but i would say sell them and get a new set. I think the 35 offset is simply way off.

Some people even buy spacers to have there wheels stick out.
If you already have them with you, put them on and see how they fit for yourself.....
its time for a wide body kit.:chuckle

I have 17x7 with a 40mm offset and its almost inline with the fender so your definatly going to be pushing it. maybe you can get the wheel hub machined.

in some situations, the cast of the wheel can be shaved a few mm's to make it fit... if you want, bring it by and I can tell you if it's salvageable or not.... it cost's $15-$20 per wheel and takes a day...
If you don't want to do that, you should try and sell them....

Allen, I'll drop by this week to figure out if I want to do this or not.
Thanks!
