I'm just throwing this out there to make this as diplomatic as I can. Meets are fun when everyone show's up cold weather or not. I think they are more fun when bigger crowds come out. The La Paloma meets as of now are weekly but, attendance isn't as big as i was expecting. I'm gonna start a poll to see if people are interested in having it Weekly or Bi-weekly. Gonna put this in caps so people can understand: I'M GONNA ASK ONLY THOSE PEOPLE WHO ARE ACTUALLY INTERESTED IN ATTENDING OR ARE REGULARS. If your gonna vote and not show up, please don't. Whatever result we have, I'm gonna stick with.

Thank you.

It would be nice to have it bi-weekly; working opposite the AA Thursday meets!! Its a little tough getting to both if their in the same week!

IMHO.

I agree Bi-weekly is the way to go. Every week it becomes a grind, not a fun meet.

Make sure the Bi-week you make it on is the week it doesn't rain.

Yes, I'm gonna tell the guy upstairs to just chill for a couple hours 'till the meet is over, then it can rain as much as he wants. LOL!

Guys and galls. Just looking at the polls. There are a few more weeks to vote on this. Like I said, I was going to make this as diplomatic as I can and so which ever one wins, we will go with. Although, there will be a meet this week. I will post up soon.

I'm not being picky, but if its every other week, there will be a better chance for others to show up.
Trying to attend paloma every Wednesday for a meet is tiring, especially when your in the far west... (damn the 30 age comes out)

But I'll try.

Bi-weekly, opposite week of MASIV monday so that there's a big meet ever week. One monday and one the following week but on wednesday.

Also keep in mind the AA meets draw fairly well. So, having potentially three meets a week(Masiv Monday, Paloma Wednesday, AA Thursday), is a lot. Two meets, people will likely make.

Ryan, you sound like a bicycle enthusiast.

I never thought I'd hear a car enthusiast complain about driving his CAR.

Wow, far only counts if you have to take the bus or walk to the meets.

Weak-sauce.

I think you're missing the big picture.

If people (like Ryan) are complaining about how the far the meets are, then having or hosting meeting in the different areas (on different days of the week)... whether it's weekly or not, will entice those people to attend meets that they live close too.

Just my opinion. Summer is around the corner and warm weather is upon us, get out and do your thing.

I love Wednesday meets. It's been a great success for 3 years running. Having 3 meets in one week is a little hard for everyone to show up to. For me driving isn't an issue or else I wouldn't have bought this car. Last week I was at all 3. Yes, I was bored and had nothing to do. LOL. Didn't see to many new faces either. The cold never stopped anyone in the winter either from showing up. Having the Massive and AA's on one week, then La Paloma on the following would be better. It spread's it out. It also gives others a chance to make an 'effort' to show. Even for half an hour.

That being said, no one can stop anyone from hosting a meet. However, if for example you post it on a Monday or a Wednesday on the off week, the name and location of the meet should be changed so as not to confuse the dates. Mods, if I have incorrectly stated anything wrong, please jump in.

Thank you.

Okay, so tomorrow the poll will close for the voting, but I have noticed that noone has voted in a while on this subject and the Bi-weekly poll side has a large lead and I do not think anyone eles will vote to change the outcome. Therefore as dipolmatic as I made it, La Paloma meets will be held on a bi-weekly basis. Mod's please close this thread after the poll has closed tomorrow.

Thanks to everyone who voted.
