I must say Detroit in 4 although I root for the Pens myself. They're just too strong and are showing the Pens a hockey lesson so far in this series.

The Pens haven't played a possessional team like Detroit. You can't score if you don't have the puck. Detroit is a class possession team, they always look to control the puck. Their experience is definitely showing - 6 players still playing from their 96-97 Stanley Cup team (not including coaches and staff).
The media talked about how this series was going to be a classic but it's not yet. I'm hoping the Pens manage to get at least one win and wake up Osgood.

Great series! Best finals I've seen in a while. The final 2 minutes were intense! As much as I was rooting the Pens, the Red Wings played a helluva series. Experience played a huge factor.

It's scary to know how young the Pens are, this team's gonna be a force for years to come if they keep the core of it together. They're the second coming of the 80's Oilers.

That was an awesome Stanley Cup Final. I was only able to catch the 3rd period, but it was so exciting.

Detroit deserved the Cup this season, they play practically flawless puck possession type game, and their defense is superb!

The last two minutes were awesome and very exciting, too bad the Penguins couldn't pull up another last minute goal (SO CLOSE, but goal would've been disallowed anyway as time was up!).

Great way to end the NHL season.. I wish this was Game 7! :P

Oh no that was good. The game in general was great, but unfortunately I turned it off as soon as the cup came out as there wasn't much cheering or anything. Definitely not a good celebration like in other years.

It was pretty disappointing to see that ALL of the fans had left by the time the picture was taken and everything like that.
All in all, it was a pretty entertaining game. Detroit definitely deserved it, but I would have loved to see the Pens pull it off last night to force a game 7. Detroit definitely dominated the play for most of it, but last night, Pitt was playing like they wanted to win, they just didn't have it in them. Next year will be good, though. There are a lot of good, young teams around. Pittsburg, Montreal, Minni, the Leafs :chuckle
Should be an entertaining season!
