i had a set installed in my previous vehicle with a switch on the dash. i never had the opportunity to flash someone behind me for high beams, but it did come in handy a couple times :)

This is insanely bright! I got reverse LEDs instead, has the looks and not as bright as stock lights but I have no problem with it.

I was wondering when someone was gonna do this! I thought of this ages ago! lol... Our reverse lights are weak and almost unusable ..... this is certainly a fix!

In the 2nd post in Post# 5 i thought that was the front of your ride..... Ridiculous Bright
My honest opinion.....pure waste. Sorry bro. That money could have went to other things like an intake or stereo, or HID fogs. Man o man, why would you need reverse lights that bright? Just drive slower when ur backing up and pay attention. Oye, whatever floats the boat I guess.

should go with the LED tail lights from the xenon store.. they are pretty damn bright and they use just the stock bulb too..

Wow, that's nuts.
Hats off to effort though. Just not sure I do a lot of reversing to justify it, but big ups for being unique.

Only if you have HID HighBeams lol
Good to know how it turned out though, gives a better idea now. Why not go with LEDs? they are alot brighter then stock bulbs

Do you even have LED's? They are definitely not brighter than stock bulbs.

Wait a minute, LEDs are always brighter or not in that case? I have whatever came on my 08.5gt, can see everything clearly..

I find led's are brighter BUT they don't have any distance...if you know what I mean. Looks real good but light up for maybe 1-2ft max :chuckle
so wat is the size of the bulb?

If the lights were designed w/ LED's in mind, than they would work. LED's are very focused, so they don't spread out the light that well. The LED tail lights on our cars are easily seen b/c there are quite a few spread out. I have the 3W bulbs for the reverse lights from Devin, and they don't put out as much output as stock bulbs. They look really nice though.

I'd disagree if it is night time, and you are backing up.
This is a killer weapon if someone tailgates you and you are at a stoplight.
Although, they might ram u, lol
so wat is the size of the bulb?
?

Makes sense for cottage use. I was in my buddies car (audi a4) when we backed up right on top of a tree stump while at his cottage. Car wouldn't start afterwards and we had to get a flatbed to move it ($$$$$$$$$).

yea but if someone was tailgating you, i'd probably use that hammer with a really annoying fly.
