wiring kit

rite now i have 2 10'' mtx thunder subs sitting in my basement. one of my frends is letting me borrow his amp for the summer. the only thing im missing is a wiring kit. now i kno theres different gauge wiring kits and i dont really know the difference? the subs and amp are just a temp set up for the summer and i do plan on upgrading it. so from my knowlegdge ive heard 4 gauge is proly my best option? correct me if im wrong?

yes 4 is the best, you could get away with 8 though.

is there a significant difference between the two? like im talking night and day?

You should check the amplifiers owners manual as it will definately tell you what size is best.
