alright, so first off, i have an '07 mazda3 with the 2.0L, and its a 5spd.
i have a full ehxuast, and an intake, and im due for an oil change.
i have 26000ish km's on my car.

anyways, lately,my car has been doing some weird things.
1) when the engine/tranny is cold, it jerks a few times when shifting into 3rd or 4th.
2) rarely, when stopped at idle, it'll just once, rev to 1500, then back down to 800.
3)when driving, in just about any gear, the car will sometimes jerk a bit when declerating.

any ideas on what it may be? cuz i really have no idea. i know my air filter is getting a bit dirty, but i cant see that being the whole problem.
altho i am going to clean it/do an oil change tomorow, and see if that helps at all.

well, i found the problem.
i was talking to a tech at the CT i work with, and he said to wait till i get a CEL.
and i ended up getting one halfway home. so i brought it back, ended up being a mass air flow code.
apparently, the black wire had somehow broke.
so the car is all back to normal again, drives really nice, and alot smoother thanks to the oil change.

i also played around with the coilovers, and got the front end 0.5"s lower.
