Dealer decals, can I have them removed before del.

Hi, was wondering what the "etiquette" is when it comes to the dealer decals on the car. If I ask them, will they remove them for me or do I have to do it???

I suppose if I am spending 30K they will do it for me. Just curious thanx

Just tell them you don't want it on the car. They put them on at delivery.

If they are on the car already, ask them to remove them before pickup. That way if it damages the paint, you aren't at fault.

Yep. I've always been very clear about this when buying cars. My Sunfire had some stupid dealer-rice badge on it when it arrived at the dealer (the dealer that my dealer got it from had put it on) and I had them remove it before I took delivery.

Same with the MS3. I was very clear at Avante that I didn't want any dealer stuff attached and they were more than happy to comply. Hell, they even had a sticker that they normally stick inside the glove box with contact and service info on it... and slipped it (unstuck) into my manual instead.

I conceded on the license plate surrounds, as they're easy enough to remove.

yeah, my dealer plate covers are coming off as well.

I have regular clear ones to replace them.

My Mom picked up a new Seantra years ago, and i had told them in advance to not put on any decals.

We went to pick up the car, low and behold, Fairview Nissan stickers on the paint.

I had them remove them before we accepted the car.

tell them if they want to advertise on your car that you will charge them X number of dollars for the privilege, see what they say.
No dealer advert on my car. They put clear plate covers on mine, front and back with their name on it, I just reversed them, no name

Luckily we do not put any stickers on our cars, of course the logo'd plate cover can be replaced with one of there beauties if you prefer..

the nice part of the TM3 plate covers is that is blurs the plate number for photoradar or 407 etr... :)
