winter tire tread question

does anyone know what the standard tread depth is for a brand new winter tire??

i was just curious - there must be a standard depth that these tires come from the factory with

anyone know??

i am guessing somewhere around 14/32"

I expect different brands and models would have different initial depths.

Do they give that spec on TireRack or anywhere?
