Hi Everyone,
I've been browsing the forums for a while and took delivery of my GT sedan last week. I'm looking to lower the car and I've heard pro-kits are the way to go for a mild drop.
Has anyone had any suspension work done at Max Motorsports? They've quoted a reasonable price but I want to see if other members like their work.
Are there any other shops in or near Mississauga where people have had their cars lowered?
Thanks in advance!

You can take a look through the Shops/Service Review section (http://torontomazda3.ca/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=56). You can get a lot of personal accounts of dealing with most shops there. Take a look, and welcome to the board!

Go to Jimmy, Street performance.
It's worth the drive, and he does it for $100. Got my pro-kits installed today, ~40-50 minutes. That must be some sort of record!
He takes your car out for a drive after to see if there are any noises, and makes sure everything is ok.
Took this pic of pro-kit front springs (right) and stock side by side.

err... strange! Firefox 3.0 on both my Linux and Windows box show me no picture. IE 7.0 on Windows box shows me no picture.
Do I not have permission to see it, or his pictures or something?

Not sure. I use FF3 and it renders ok. Go to my profile, it's under the album 'pics"

Cool, I saw the pic... You didn't change struts / shocks / dampers? Let me know how that works out :) I might buy a prokit if you don't explode the stock set!

it'll take a while before prokits wear out the stock struts/shocks. Don't worry about that at all. The wear rate is going to be very close to the stock springs

With the way I drive, I'm pretty sure I can get 3 years out of the stock struts.
Jimmy said around 4 years if you're extra careful. As long as you don't do 80 over speed bumps and pot holes; you should be fine.
However, I will need to buy camber links a few months down the road. I foresee my camber growing quite a bit. That you might want to look into if you're not sure on buying pro kits yet.
SSG should still have a set of prokits in stock if I'm not mistaken.
