Integration Solutions - L5 Ipod/Aux adapter

Heya Gang,

This ipod and Aux issue seems to be a pain in the wise toothless one !

After much investigation I managed to find a product that for the most part seems to be ultra compatible with all Mazda 3 HU. With the exception of those that have had the factory SAT Radio installed.

The company is called Integration Solutions (if there is already information regarding this then my bad.

Here is the product as stated in their inventory

2005-2008 MAZDA 3 DIRECT iPOD + AUX IN W/ TEXT-LEVEL #5

-Full integration with you steering wheel controls
-ID3 Tag info displayed on your HU screen
-Additional Aux for DVD player etc ....
-Charges Ipod and continues for 20min after you shut your car off
-Switch from ipod to Aux with your SAT button
-Have the option to lock the ipod(means you cant use the scroll wheel on your ipod but .. you get the ID3 info on the screen) or, Unlock the ipod but not ID3 Info on the screen
-Supports BOSE and CLARION HU

I just ordered it from their e-bay store so I hope to have a full report once I do he install.

Finally had the chance to do a proper install and it works awesome ....

2 line in's (one aux and one Ipod) through the Sat input on the back of the HU

In Ipod mode you have the option of seeking by Album , Artist , Playlist or Song Title ... with full HU display and steering control ... Aux is mini plug so any mini plug peripheral will be compatible... you can scan through the selections you want by using the seek button(you have to click it twice to change from one menu to the other) ...

Worth the investment

Did you say it displays song/artists/album titles on HU? If so, thats pretty good. Great buy!
